The statue of Greyfriars Bobby in Candlemaker Row, Edinburgh is an iconic sight much visited and much loved. The story of the loyal Skye terrier who stayed by his masters grave for 14 years is well known and has been told in film and book many times. I photographed the statue about 25 years ago before his nose turned gold from being touched.

Completed just last week I have used Ho-Sho Japanese paper 80gsm for this print and the paper size is 27.8 x 19.7 cm. The printed area is 14.7 x 9 cm approximately. 'Bobby' is printed in a blue grey colour. I use Cranfield Caligo Safe wash relief inks.

The prints are in an edition of 50 and are numbered, signed and have the title inscribed under the image.
