Commissioning a portrait is really easy and makes a very special gift and for a little pencil drawing is quite inexpensive.

I use photographic reference but draw freehand to keep the freshness and liveliness of the sitter.

I never use a photoshoped image overlaid with filters as is seen on many well known websites.

Send me a digital photo as clear and sharp as possible and a mobile phone image will work as long as the photo is sent at its original size.

For an inexpensive portrait choose pencil, which is my favourite medium. But I also use pen and ink and watercolour depending on the subject.

A little 7 x 10 inch portrait in pencil costs just £35 and a mount costs £5 extra.

An A4 portrait in pencil or pen and ink portrait costs £48. Please contact me for watercolour prices.
